Description

Santa's helper who was lost. Photos from the play for 1-4 years old children 8.th of December. The story I and the cat Felix - last one want to learn og know something about Christmas, -are going to meet Hubert, Santa's little helper. But Hubert is not at the meeting point, so a big search to find him starts. If we do not find him a lot of children wouldn't get Christmas gifts this year. Santa Claus is not quite young anymore and Hubert got the task to bring out the Christmas gifts this year and we should help him. But By the help of Rudolph the Reindeer, The Caterpiller Kurt, Albert the Dog - and most of all with the help of all the children we finally find him and ask why he hides. The photos: top left; Introducing the Christmas play for the young audience. Top right; Looking for Hubert. Felix and I ask Albert the Dog about seing Hubert?. Center; Felix the Cat. Middle left; asking the Caterpillar Kurt: Have you seen Hubert? Only yesterday, he says and I put him back to his place, where he can sleep further, dreaming about being e beautiful butterfly to the spring. Middle right; we meet Rudolph the Reindeer, ready to go with us but he only saw Hubert shortly when he ran off and then disapeared. Bottom left; I am freezing and find me a warm coat. The children tell me Hubert hides behind my back. I finally find Hubert. He was scared because of a lot of strangers suddenly arriving so he hides himself. I tell him, that it is only the sweet children waiting to get the Christmas presents this year. All are happy now - and (bottom right) all the children meet Hubert and the other toy players and saying hallo to them. So Hubert, Rudolph, Felix and I can now bring out all the Christmas present all over the world.. During the play I sing the different story verses from my self composed Christmas song in words and melody, arranged by a good music friend, Henrik Knudsen. A sort of cabaret for the youngest, I guess? A wonderful audience I must say. The scenography are made by my colleagues Katia and Cecillie (stars and isicles) and myself. OH WOW! I am impressed. That looks like great fun for the children. Reminds me of a story my mom told me again and again, when i was a little girl. About a cat that was lost and got help from a tiny Nisse :) I cried every time the little Cat got lost. :) I loved that story :)

This is delightful, Johnny! I knew you are a great storyteller, and the intensity in your face just shows how much you get into the character. What a wonderful thing this must have been to see.... For 'kids' of all ages!
