You got some splainin to do, Lucy. The mouse wants the cheese, but does the dog want the smoke. Does the dog want the cheese? I'm very confused on this one. Love the image and well done. Lotsa huggs...Silkylady...

The great cheese race is ready to commence. On your mark.. Get set.. Go! Actually, in this kind of scenario, the mouse should pull a diversionary tactic and run away from the cheese. The will cause the dog to assume the threat to his cheese to be reduced and will instead give chase to the mouse for the thrill of it and maybe a mouse flavored snack. But the mouse has the advantage in traction and inertia. It can do a 180 turn in under 50 millisecs unlike the dog, that requires at least 1500 mS for the same turn. This can give the mouse sufficient head start on the return to hole trip to dart under the dog, grab the cheese and gain sanctuary. (I way over think these things...lol) Great image big 'C'. Glad to see you in such great form again. Best to ya from Dave :^)

OK Dave have you done any experiments, be they live or in a bab that can prove without a shadow of a doubt that the figures you advance are correct ? And I quote "But the mouse has the advantage in traction and inertia. It can do a 180 turn in under 50 millisecs unlike the dog, that requires at least 1500 mS". Those are heavy numbers nymy man. "C" my money is on the mouse ! Why? Because I use one every day and I know how quick they can be. Dave this is not a theory but a cold hard fact ! George !
