I have no idea what they were talking about up there on the roof. Captured 1/9/2019, not far from home.

The men on the roof are probably saying, "Do you see a fire? I don't see a fire. Anyone here see a fire?" Your son's probably right...Lots of clarity in this--esp noticeable after your last misty fog shot. And the pov is a big angle: The street, the street's yellow lines, the parked cars, of course the fire engine, and the facades: They all make a single angle through the whole piece (so do the wires above). The men are the diversion, and the ladder is the unifying line between them and the rest of the shot. Fine linear work, and bright clear light.
