Description

This second shot of the hornet's nest we found is not quite in focus. The wind was really whipping it around. I wanted to go back and get some better shots but they will have to wait because the wind is still blowing and now it's raining and will be for the next few days. But you can see some of the color in the nest. It's beautiful to see and I hope to collect it once the hornets have gone. By the way, none of these shots have been adjust for contrast, brightness, saturation or in any way other than to add my signature and put a little border around them. Thanks for Looking, Ken

The paper seems so delicate and wispy thin but it also seems to have a lot of strength to it. So very cool, Kenny! Really an awesome find.

It's astounding how they even know, what they are building ? without an architect around...this reminds me very much of the spanish architect, Mr.Goudi, maybe that's where he got his ideas from? those marvellous insect's! another winner, Ken, BB

Just like a giant football, which you DON'T want to kick ! Shame about the high winds, but still a fine result ! ~Cheers~
