Description

This image is a repost, wish I had a better shot to present, but I am not a photographer, I just take pictures... ;P We are very excited to be part of making history, that we will finally see some much needed change. It is going to be a long and difficult road, there is so much damage to undo... I hope we see returning prosperity and hope for all Americans. Peace, : )

A perfect picture to capture the spirit of this history-making election. I couldn't be more pleased and believe Obama will be a much-needed positive change for our country. CC

Hope is good He seems less of a Nazi than the usual US president. He is still a politician so I reserve judgement.

Well, I didn't want either one to win. The guy that would have really helped our country got short changed and pushed aside, and now everyone is looking to him for advice on the economy. We all would have benefitted much more if Ron Paul had been elected. Obama, McCain, they are all just pawns of the power elite. I doubt anything will change. Other than our taxes going up. I'm sorry, but I'm just disgusted with politics at the moment. It's a nice picture though. :p

I was impressed by his speech last night it was very humble charismatic and wise and esp was drawn to how he hugged his daughter so lovingly.. you can almost always see a persons heart by how they treat their children and loved ones I feel (it seemed so genuine). Beautiful sky , and positive wishes for the future!

"I hope we see returning prosperity and hope for all Americans." You and me both Digi, you and me both. I remain cautiously optimistic after this election, but I am feeling a little better about the country than I have in a long time.

Thanks for this Eric. Yes I too feel hope for the first time in a very long time. Yes it will be a long hard road but for once I feel there is chance for much progress and the opportunity to once again be a true part of the global community. You lovely pic says it all for me! Hugs to you my friend. Laurie

I love your photo, Eric. That's exactly how I feel this morning. I'm still overcome with emotion over Obama's win. I wept when CNN declared him the winner. This is so huge, that it's hard to put it into words.

There's a lot of weight on our new president's shoulders. He is the image of new hope ...the new day. Finally, in January, the sun will set on a terrible eight years, but the next day, it will rise as well as the United States of America.

Superb shot, Eric. A fitting symbol for the hope we should embrace. Perhaps, with patience, our land will see some relief.

Beautiful post, but I think maybe some are putting too much hope on one man. IMHO it's like trying to stop a toilet from flushing after you pull the handle.
