Description

This was suppose to be my submission for the home for the holidays contest. Unfortunately even though I submitted it in plenty of time I neglected to put in the description it was painted in Photoshop, so the admins here rejected it. Lesson to you all make sure you read the entire thing regarding the rules. One mistake, and Renderosity just wont work with you to fix it.

It is a shame that in its doggety approach to enforce its rule Renderosity denies so many of its members the chance to be introduced to your fine gallery and current work. Every greeting card company should be knocking down your door.

It is a beautiful image. Great Job. Please understand that the contest laws in the state of Tennessee are pretty strict and we must follow those as well as our own guidelines of the contests. We put in wording to help members understand to please try and submit your entry as early as you can just in case there is an issue that needs to be corrected or resolved. Also the contest goes into voting automatically.. Its system automation so once that deadline for entries has passed and the contest goes automatically into voting, there is nothing that can be done. This is the reason we put this wording in the guidelines; "Check your EMAIL and SITEMAIL often after upload, even after it's been accepted. This is the manager's form of communication when contacting regarding violations. We recommend not waiting until the end of the contest to upload your entry. It is common for upload and/or approval complications to arise. Please give yourself ample time to correct your entry, if need be. Corrections will NOT be accepted if they are not time stamped by Dec. 17, 12pm NOON." We are very sorry that you had an issue but I hope you can understand that due to some things that are beyond our control we are limited in the ways we can handle. The contest rules and regulations have to apply evenly across the board. It is so very important that members planning to participate in the contests, read completely all of the guidelines that are put in place and if you have questions or concerns before submitting, feel free to contact contests@renderosity.com
