it's a great idea and the image came out very good the only thing i can see your missing is shadowing, which is very important to depth and character. try some shadowing on this same render and watch the differance it makes. Keep up the good work!

But there is shadowing, its just very soft and subtle.

The image is quite good, it needs a bit more shadow for more reality, P8 had IDL which is really cool! Oh and PP2010 has nothing on Vray......

I love it dude. Is that a bag full of money? I can see how excited he is over the real good gift. Great job. You put a ton of work into this. The whole thing is great. Shadows are a funny thing. They are so common in our 'real' life that when they are gone, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Turn the table and if the shadows are just right... nobody notices. That make sense? Made you a friend if you'll have me. I got a few great ideas from looking at your work. Take care, Gib

I think it's the reflective floor that's throwing off the shadows, if the floor wasnt so reflective I think it would be more noticeable. I was thinking that with an indoor scene, sharp shadows would make it look like an outdoor scene.

Joli foisonnement de détails. Psst ! Daz, c'est gratuit. Alors pourquoi payer pour Poser ?

I really like this scene. I also like how your guy got Poser for Christmas, but you posted this in the Daz|Studio section. Excellent work on the character poses and expressions, and just a great job at dressing the scene with props, that really added to the realism. Really nice work on this, and I'm adding it to my favorites list.
