Description

This is Bourke's Luck Potholes in South Africa. The river has carved away at the rock for hundreds of years and pebbles have spun round and round in the whirls of water, causing these round holes. Back in the days, these holes used to contain a lot of gold, but nowadays all that is gone. However, at the bottom left of the picture, you can see a carpet of coins people threw in there for good luck!
