Oh my, what big eyes you've got... Excellent macro - very different from the usual depictions of butterflies/moths.

A giant bug?! That was one little, pretty, green beauty, scared to death because of the strong wind, looking for shelther at the humans teritory. It looked like a trembling leaf. I was ready to cry when it took off its way.

Very nice shot! One of the things I like so much about your photos of this type is how you often seem to be able to bring out a warmth, sometimes whimsical appearance to these creatures that many of us humans would just rather swat than anything else...

I would probably take much more and better pictures of it, but my batteries went dead. We were on a Skargard trip with our friends and already took lots of pictures, so I couldn't blame myself for not having extra power with me. And besides that, we were in the middle of nothing, a little island at the end of Stockholms Skargard http://www.webbkusten.com/, no where to buy new set of batteries. So, with a broken heart, but I had to let the butterfly (I fell in love with) go with hope the only picture of it went good. Fly, my little darling.
