Description

- After several years of service, the Hicksville Mine was abandoned by the villagers, left on it's own in the mountains - I've been taking a break from Vue, but started to miss it :) I started working on this one a couple of days ago and I believe it's finished know. -Credits- Trees by Madasatadpole Dandelion by Bernieloehn A bit of modeling by Linkinpark I hope you like this one! Well, dark times down in hicksville, that's for sure. Hard to see any tree here! But an interesting one, that's for sure too Thomas. Maybe i can send you a candle to light the whole scene up a little :-))

I agree with linkinpark, the mysterious atmosphere makes one wonder why there is a light in an abandoned mine. The texturing is excellent as always.

Excellent textures and scene. But I don't like the apportionment in this image. In my opinion it would a better apportionment, if the door is more in the middle of the picture (between top and bottom I mean, not between left and right). But still it's another great work. Hoffentlich zerreissen mich jetzt nicht alle in der Luft ;-)!

Perfect mood and atmosphere. The water is a nice touch, as that seems to happen often with abandoned mines. There is a Hicksville in Tennessee, BTW....LOL The lighting is great on this one....makes it look dark and broody.

Have come late to this party little to add, except I like the image, trying to image it printed on the wall with all that neat blackness.
