Description

In Loving Memory ... To have loved one, then lost, is still better than to have never been so blessed. To have been enriched by one's cheerfulness, their memory lingers on. Their hopes and ideals in the crevices of your mind, their wisdom is there when you need it. Whatever was good and noble within your loved one, they still live through you. May their life have had purpose and meaning by keeping their good seed alive. Only then can we truly say, "In Loving Memory." I dedicate this image to one of the finest women I ever had the pleasure of knowing... "Valerie Ducom". Valerie passed away just recently and I along wih all that knew her, grieve her death and grieve for her family... but is it not better that we rejoice because she lived? I hurt because we lost her but there is a part of my life that will always be spectacular because she was a part of it. She always had a kind word to say, a laugh to share, advice for her friends and an ear to listen. I am so blessed because Valerie was a part of my life and one of the dearest friends I could have had. I never had the chance to meet her in person but I feel as if I couldn't have been any closer to her.... She will be missed as a friend to many, her art will be missed but will continue to brighten my days as well as those who knew her....Rest in peace Valerie, my friend.... Heaven took an angel and I'd like to believe that today and all the tomorrows Heaven will be more colorful through Valeries eyes. A beautiful and very touching dedicate to Valerie! Thanks! The hole in my soul don`t go away- till today. Taking a photo here in my city is not pleasure but pain in this moment. Every click of my camera brings back one thought: What would Val do in this moment? Would she accept my shot? We have seen here so many works now, dedicated to Valerie. It is amazing to see all those different styles of art. It looks as if everyone of us give her the best what we can do. This is overwhelming and very teasing.
