Description

His heart is as hard as whinstone Cold as a Northern sky Tears dare not caress his cheeks His dark eyes are bleak and dry Don't think for a moment That underneath that shell exists a noble sentiment This man comes straight from hell Don't waste time trying to find him or show him that you care He'll crush you like a sparrows egg To him your just not there Don't think that you can change him That he'll love you in the end He looks through you, through everyone He wants neither lover nor friend Leave now while you can Never return to this place Let him enjoy his nightmare of the ice cold embrace Leave him drown in his longed for agony at the memory of her face.

Excellent! This is a strong indictment of obsessive love. In his misery he cares for nothing else. I've never read "Wuthering Heights" I just read a synopsis of Heathcliff's character. I think your poem better reflects it then many popular portrayals. Very nicely done.
