From my very old Deutsch (I studied Deutsch in the 60's and 70's!), I think your translation is perfect. I know it's literally "ghosts-forest," but I think the colloquial meaning is "haunted forest". And, in any case, your beautiful near-silver-print photo tells us the meaning, all by itself.
A beautiful job manipulating your camera "just enough" so it gives this silvery, almost icicle capture of trees. It shimmers, and it feels like beautiful ice sculptures. But it also looks like trees, and it has light and motion, almost liquid motion: Your strokes on the bottom of the picture are like a flowing river with reflections in it. And the branches on top make ghost-lines, like long stands of hair flying right in front of your lens. A beautiful haunting image of trees in the cold (this was in March), and---as an abstract---it's beautiful. And the silvery monotone is perfect for your concept.
