Description

Shot last night around 8pm. Seeing was dreadful, real shifting, shimmery atmosphere and lots of pollution down low in the sky. Ah, but it's orange.... well yes, that's all the sulphur dioxide you're breathing!! Oh to live in the countryside.... Got lots of full-disc shots but thought this one was a bit more interesting. Thanks for looking! ~Steve~

beautiful colour and size and detail, but I miss the wolf silhouette :) first time I've appreciated the bumpy rim, that is one powerful lens

Yup ... full disc shots of the moon are nice and everything, but there's no composition! With the clouds you've got here it's moody and wonderful and SO much more interesting to look at!

It's really just a huge wheel of cheddar cheese; you can see where it has had bites taken out of it!

It really is a great shot. Isn't it ironic that the best colors of the evening sky are due to pollution and dust?
