For this first day of the rest of our lives, I want to send a universal greeting to all here that have shown me so much kindness over the past year. When I finally came back to this wonderful group after years away on the road, I wondered if anyone would even remember me. Not only did many of my oldest friends remember and greet me with warmth, many more of you, who I did not know, came to be my friends on here. That warmed me more than I can ever express. Now,as we embark on 2021, I look so forward to viewing your art, trying to make you laugh with mine, and sharing some good times. I wish for each of you to grow as individuals and as artist. This year, I will immensely enjoy your gallery, your posts, and your friendship.

In France as well, many "famous" people died in 2020 but they were singers, actors, writers...who were famous when I was young ! Superb image to celebrate the new year.

Very nice picture to start this year. As Gaius says in France too we have lost a lot of artists and even politicians. I remember one son "Officer and Gentlemen" in which Kenny Rogers sang a duet. Thank you for them.

A lot of people died last year. Let's hope that the vaccination will go swift but i fear it may take a wee bit longer than spring.
