Description
Ilmarus Toivo is a cleric of the sea god Móraneth, and while he may be short, he should not be underestimated.
Once again I'm illustrating a character from a fantasy role-playing game. I used Genesis for Toivo. The wealthy woman and the servant passing in the background are V3 & V4, respectively. This picture required a combination of DAZ Studio, Photoshop Elements, and iDraw, with a lot of jumping back and forth between programs.
I hope you'll all enjoy him.

Interesting how a DAZ Studio render can be reworked to produce this kind of hand-drawn effect. I might like to try coming up with something like that with my own renders. ;) Would little Toivo respond with a laugh if I teased him a little? Or would he get upset and cast a spell at me? :)

I don't think he'd cast a spell on you for a little teasing. He might whack you in the shin with his quarterstaff, though.

I do not think that this is a "hobbit", katy77. Does not look like Tolkien to me, not at all. A halfling from Dungeons and Dragons, yes. I would not want to annoy him; he makes me think of small very tough Irishman who maybe does not start bar fights but finishes them. :-) Nice work!

What fantasy roleplay game is it from? I ask because I played a text based MUD that had halflings and clerics called "Gemstone" Anyway, great image. Love the black and white style of it.

Thanks. :) This is from Pathfinder. It's not a computer RPG, but the kind you play with pencil and paper while sitting around the table eating pizza with your friends.

Your illustration looks great! Toivo reminds me a bit on Tyrion in the "Game of Thrones" TV series (but he is no cleric)... (I currently watch season 3 on DVD) :-)
