Description

At the Lake Der-Chantecoq the combination of deep water, islands, and freshwater marshes make the area ideal for waterfowl, most notably the common crane (Grus grus). Each spring and autumn, tens of thousands of cranes assemble here in their migration between wintering grounds to the south and breeding sites in northern Europe. Thank you for your comments on my previous upload : thumb_2273180.jpg "Champaubert"

Outstanding! And a bonus sunset! I'm very much into cranes at the moment, so I appreciate it for that reason, too.
