According to Balzaq as he writes in Cousine Bette there are two types of great art, first the kind where you do not at once realize that it is anything special, but it grows upon you. And then the other kind where you instantly recognize a masterpiece. Often november22’s works are of the first kind. This picture however belongs to the second ones. Combining abstract and figurative expressions getting the best from two worlds! Notice how the colours are exquisite softened to go with the transparency of the vase. A beautiful and great piece of art.

The textures and mixture of colours you did in the background are scrumptious. The transparencies and the luminosity are fabulous. All is very soft and beautiful!I like the thin lines very much! But what i like mostly, is your way of abstraction, and i adore the whites. And i´m glad to "see you"!!:)

Beautiful colors and the light makes this a bright and cheerful image. I love the ink work. I have difficulty viewing this, even with relatively new glasses. The is a blur that disturbs my enjoyment. I feel a strain on my eyes. Other than that, this is a lovely piece that must be stunning in the real world.

Yeah, after a 200:1 compression I fail to re-sharpen. think of it as an anti-thief device.

I've been catching up on galleries, gallery by gallery (ie not ebots) and so I've been getting to them a few a day. I'm in the Ns today. (Just saw Sir Nikolay!) But I saw your uploads as they went up even when I couldn't use my eyes very well, and I had the same feelings as I had with everything else you've done: I've been fully taken-in by your vision. This truly does have the feeling of photo-manipulation; but as in all your other work, it goes so far beyond it that it looks like a painting as well. The flowers are unusual for what I've seen of yours, because their lines & color-areas are more loosely delineated, like you're improvising and having a great time at it. And this has that inimitable 'Tim' sense of all the activity present in a small patch of life; the understanding of the line inherent in all things, the energy-vectors and delineations of section after section; and you've made something sumptuous and tactile and silken and satiny. It's beautiful tim; the bits of violet in your background and that swath on the left that lacks the background texture, and your treatment of the vase in beautiful long swaths of green & blue-green etc, are splendid touches. A beautiful image which on the surface is 'simple manipulation', but, as in all your work, is immensely rich underneath. I love this. Always a treat to come here, always.
