Description

The first picture in my "Greece"-series. Since I haven't yet recieved the photos, this image was created by my memories of Kastro, a little town in the mountains, only accessed by a long trial. Eran Dinur helped me a lot with this one. He modelled the rockwalls (which are absolutely fantastic) for me, and gave me some wonderful feedback. Therefor, I'd like to dedicate this image to him. Thanks! Comments and feedback is very welcome :) Thanks for viewing! - Thomas Groundbricks - by Rollmops Housemodel - from www.dreamlandworks.com/Dreambook

Deevee - Yes we have, but my father and I decided to get the photos on a CD in a VERY high resolution so we can manipulate the colors and contrast. Then, we're going to get some "super-images" :) Unfortunately, this type of resolution takes a long time to create... :)

A perfect evocation of a tiny corner in a little Greek town. Stunning, Thomas. I hope you loved Greece as much as I do. Look forward to seeing more of your Hellene-inspired images.

Excellent work. The lighting and textures are splendid as usual... except that - I do have one small niggle. The quality of the piece is such that it took some time before I noticed, but having spotted it, it keeps coming back to my attention. I refer to the stone wall texture on the right. A fine texture, but it is unnatural for such a repeating pattern to appear in an irregularly laid rustic stone wall such as this.

Great collaboration on a wonderfully relaistic render. I assume this as I have not had the good fortune to do the Shirley Valentine routine and run a away to Greece ;}}
