Description

Back to the 50 acre Wakodahatchee Wetlands for a peek at a Great Blue Heron. S/he can grow up to 46 inches (117 cm) tall with a wing span of 72 inches (183 cm). They should be building nests right about now and laying eggs very soon. A very beautiful, graceful and majestic bird. I completed my federal taxes today and will not have time to comment. Very good capture Dana personally, if I had just completed doing my taxes, i wouldn't want to be doing anything at all except finding the nearest bed and imitating a coma.

Great shot Dana, it looks like you got fairly close too! I recently finished my Federal Corporate Tax Return along with the Provincial Return for my publishing company which I wound up last October. As a final return, it was very ugly as I had no guide for what to do...very painful and was over 40 pages when done plus two letters with notes regarding the returns. Next will be my personal return, ugh!

What a great capture! They are such beautiful birds...I just don't like them in our koi pond, LOL. We have netting over the pond but those sneaky birds always try to find a way in. Most of the time they stand on our deck and watch the fish. Then they are sent on their way, LOL
