Description

This is a digital painting made with Photoshop on a Wacom tablet. I am currently brushing up on my painting skills :) This one is a mixture of 'smearing' and painting in layers using the mixer brushes and techniques by John Derry. Thank you Lars PS: The fruit tasted delicious in a juice that I mixed afterwards - with grapes, lemon, apples, oranges and ginger :)

Very skillful effort Lars. The transitions are facinating. I wouldn't have the patience to do 2D art.. even digital. Awesome job. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)

tennesseecowgirl: Ha ha .. good (I think). Thank you very much. Yes, you are right the photo is mine as well. Now that you say it I will remember to post the photo in the photogallery also in big size (and not only as a reference thumbnail here). davidoblad: Thank you very much David, I am glad you also enjoyed the transition-images that I included. lol yes it takes some time to do 2D, also since I in this case first have to Photograph my subjects for reference. All in all I worked on this for two days (some hours each day), and of course this is not a finished work but I like the control you get with 2D where I can see my progress layer for layer in Photoshop :) Making it digital makes it more easy than with oil paint I find. My 3D work tends to take even more time since I both have to model, texture, lighten, render and composite the scene. Simone83: Thank you, I am glad you like it!
