Now we have had the funeral for you.
A day filled with sorrow but also some smiles when talking about you and what we had togheter during the years.
A very "beautiful" funeral, with lots of bikerfriends from Sweden as well as from Holland.
Many speeches filled with love and respect for and about you.
We feel deep grief that you are gone but also "happy" that you no longer live in huge pain cuz your many different kind och healthissues.
we will always be proud over that we was the "chosen ones" in your life.
Many laugh, tears, happiness, sorrow we shared during many years.
I had my own speech for you,
I choosen to have it in english so that the duchies felt that they could follow what was reading for you Berne
I put in my personal speech here:
Truly great friends are hard to find, diffulcult to leave and impossible to forget
Berne was such a friend.
I met Berne 10 or 12 years ago. At a Vulcan RIders MC meet - of course!
Years filled with joy and a lots of humor, we also shared some sorrows.
There are a couple of things that comes to my mind when I think about Berne..
He was a beloved friend.
He was always there for me as well as for the friends that he loved.
We shared many things during these years,
Crazy humor, many laughs, travels through Europe,
Sometimes when life itself gave us lemons,we also shared tears
Afterwards, we chose to "mix juice of these lemons and decided to let life carry on.
A warm hearted loveable man
Eyes, that have so many differnet expressions at the same time
A crazy kind of humour that make me laugh som many times
His smile when he was happy, always thouched my heart ans soul deeply
Berne "miles run" ( MC things)
It´s an honour to be one of those who participated in that run from year to another.
I will forever be proud over the awards that I won.
It will always feel a little extra good that it was "Bernes run"
Finally, once, when I was visited Berne and we sat having a cup of coffee, he gave me a gift.
He put it in my hand, whispering: "for our friendship"
then he smiled the way that only he could and his eyes sparkled...
I opened my hand and there it was, a plague, with vulcan colors on the ribbon.
On the frontside a bunch of bikers and on the back the text "for friendship":
Do I have to mention that I feel very proud?
Truly great friends are hard to find, diffucult to leave and impossible to forget
I will never forget you Berne, fly free in bikerheaven

My condolences for your loss. I very much enjoyed following your last vacation as you motored across France and thought what a marvelous adventure for a person who obviously enjoys life and the fun it provides. So it saddens me that you now have this to deal with.
Nonetheless, you are right. Your good friend Berne is free. Be glad and happy for him.
A wonderful dedication to your beloved friend. I am sure he is and always will be happy that you were his friend too. In life very few are lucky enough to have a friend like that... I wholeheartedly agree with what you said - "Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget". May he rest in peace and may you find peace too in the memories you made with him....
