Description

This was the view up Glen Nevis over Fort William, from our window the other evening. I think the white birds might be swans? Every morning I open the curtains to this view, what a great way to start off your day eh? (he said smugly!) Thanks for viewing www.aangusphotography.com

That's what you see from your window ? So why do you need all this walking ?

Very nice picture. I wake up each morning, open the curtains to a backyard that needs mowing, then I close them real fast :)

It certainly beats the east end of Glasgow, Anthony. I hope that you enjoy that breathtaking view each and every day, my friend. Echoing lejimi, I'd have to say that all you need is a huge telephoto lens and you'll have great shots of Ben Nevis, after clearing the breakfast table. Mind you it does beat the tired glow of satisfaction in having made one's way to a viewpoint, and a break in the weather giving an unsought for, unexpected breathtaking vista. Well I do have the boots for this winter and the hills beckon, but sadly I no longer have feet fit enough for the challenge, plus my lungs and my ankles let me down too. Keep well, my friend, you and your fmaily, and thank God for the wonders that you see each day, John.
