Description

The fisheries on stilts are wooden esplanades, often decorated with a cabin, allowing fishing for plaice. They are accessible by a pontoon or by a ladder. A pole moored to a cable supports two hoops where the square is fixed, net which requires a winch to be raised. Most fishermen bait the bottom of their mesh in earthworms, weighted down by a few pellets.
