A wonderful shot, mein Schatz! I don't think I could have done any better myself! You must have found the courage to switch to digital, and with a good-quality camera, too ... a Nikon, I doubt not, remembering your preference. The really unfortunate part is that there are literally too many choices in the line, and they change too rapidly. An embarrassment of riches, one might say. And the zoom lenses, while convenient, are very slow, compared to what you and I are are used to ... it is possible to use old Nikon lenses on these new cameras, but they act like telephotos, and everything must be manual. Excellent composition! It draws one in, and "balances", as a Chinaman would say. This mistiness ... is it smog, as "blinkings" suggests, or is it merely mist? There IS a good bit of open water about, after all. You must write to me (I never know if my notes to you are getting through, or getting lost) and tell me of your adventures ... and your new camera.

This is such an intriguing and inviting shot that I have a strong desire to climb those steps to the top and just breath the mood.
