Description
Mankind, creating great wormholes in the very fabric of space and time allow instantaneous travel across hundreds, even thousands of lightyears of space.
There is a catch though, these gateways must be created at a source - earth or a fairly advanced colony. One end is then boosted to near light speed and moved to the new star system. For worlds on the far side of the galaxy, a 100 millenia will pass before mankind will step on those distant shores.
From this, over centuries and then millenia, mankind will colonize a galaxy with instantaneous transportation. A internet like web will criss-cross all points of interest throughout known space.
Just think,,, a 30ms ping to the galactic core for real time gaming. Warcraft 3 on a interstellar scale.

bleep! overload! overload! it would be a wild animation, wouldn't it?.. amazing modeling.... particularly the extruded things, some would be impossible in bryce! gotta go checkout Xfrog. thanks.
