Description
Charles Washington, the owner of a small gymnasium in Los Angeles, saw his neighborhood being ruined by elements of organized crime. Determined to put a stop to it, he made himself a costume and took to the streets in 1937 as Gangbuster, the first masked hero on the West Coast. Although he has no actual superpowers, Charles Washington is a champion acrobat and boxer, a combination that allowed him to take on criminals and win. His crusade was more successful than he'd hoped and led not only to a sharp reduction in crime, but also to the removal from office of corrupt Los Angeles mayor Frank Shaw.
I decided it's been too long since I posted one of my superhero pictures. As usual, I thought that illustration style fits the genre better than trying for something more photoreal.

A great superhero takes to the streets to seek justice for all! There can never have too many of those! The yellow and blue colors in his outfit create a nice contrast in your artwork! Excellent work and well done! :-)
