Description
Fun at Night - a Poser 12 Superfly render using my volumetric water shader, volumetric lighting shader and volumetric environment shader.
It's a bit noisy but it's still visible the HDR moon light contribution on the wooden table, while the beach chairs are lit by the underwater lights through caustics. The image may look like the previous but the shaders are different. I also had to adapt the render settings for intense volumetric computation.
Considering I have Poser 12 for a couple of months, I think it looks almost decently, at least I hope so. Do not assume I have ever done before any cycles shaders, even I'm a bit familiar to Blender.
The scene has no hidden lights, it's lit by the HDR only and the underwater pool lights. Atmo, background shaders are also mine. HDR is free from polyhaven.com period (I haven't typed period sign because period it's actually a domain)
No postwork, never ever.

As a Poser user I'm seriously impressed at how much you have wrung out of it! I struggle with nighttime scenes and between the HDR lighting and the pool light sources it looks great. Certainly a test of your shaders that I would say is successful!

I love you too, my dear Molly. I assume it's just how much time and how much fun one finds in playing with those shaders.
I'm not sure if I quote the poet properly but he mainly said ".., it's just 95 % sweat and the rest is coffee.." or something like that.
I'm just trying to replace the 95% with the rest of coffee, I just have plenty of it.., sometimes it works.
Meanwhile I have some fun with my project and other collateral damages, some 1 GB animations ..lol :)
For some situations, LF is by far the best choice, including in Daz but I have no idea how to efficiently export those animations back to Poser 12, including the simulated clothes which just make the pain harder. Animations were only to have some fun and a peek into LF architecture. Very basic things, don't expect too much from me but a peek for fun is always healthy. My point is, your creativity and skills are just like a booster rocket, even it burns short, it still pushes the thing to 12 Km per second. My speedy snail engine works longer, a few metres trip is an outstanding outcome. I have no doubts anybody can achieve that lighting, it's just a matter of time one can afford. I just wanted to test anyone can have a pool at ground level both in Daz and Poser. It seems it works quite nicely.
It can be also used to have rivers, swamps with less computing effort, while keeping people walk on ground and trees grow from ground not like my floating beach chair.
