Description

More traditional drawing practice. This is the 3rd in my LOTR series it has been allot of fun. I found this one my hardest yet because its hard to capture Elijah Woods eyes. Graphite pencils, 2b, 4b and 6b I just got some decent paper today so hopefully the next one will be on better paper. Scanned and resized in photoshop. Reference image once again from theonering.net

Great portrait Tammy! If I may, I think the right eye isn't quite right, unless it's the left one... O_o Mmmmh! They're not the same anyway in the way that there's something wrong with one of them, know what I mean? Also, I think there's too much hair on the top of the head, meaning the top of the head is too high IMHO! But it's a beautiful portrait nonetheless and I'm very impressed with ur drawing skills Tammy! I would be totally unable to do such thing so I guess my opinion on that matter isn't really accurate... ;)

Well done! The eyes are different -- one from the other -- but take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror. Very few people have perfectly identical, symmetric eyes. Nicely done.

Excellent work. I saw during a making of RotK, they spent a long time on Elijah Wood's eyes and you've done very well showing that they are very expressive.
