I wanted to try and push beyond what I was able to do on the old machine just to prove to myself that going into hock to get the new one was worth it. I'm still in the justification phase, you see.
With 4 figures and water, I think qualifies as the most complex scene I've ever rendered with no postwork. Did one last night but I wasn't happy with how it turned out and didn't have time to improve it now that I'm working again and have about 3 hours from getting home in the evening and bedtime. (Boo hoo hoo.)
Now that I have the ability to push the render settings up to ridiculously high, I'm surprised how good some of these older models look. I had no idea that the content creators were so skilled. The flowing water on this fountain wowed me. Never seen it before with my old render settings. That was a fun surprise. Yays!
I don't know where this fountain is, but I'll be asking my travel agent so I can vacation there.

I can get two M4's in a scene in one render, if I'm lucky and don't have a very complex background! I am very happy to see you breaking in your new machine with the proper subject matter. Job well done! Bravo! A most superb render!

I don't think I have ever seen water in that fountain before either! And the details on the tatts on the guys look wonderful, too. Your new computer knows it's stuff. And this makes me think of "It's raining men" ;)
