"We have normality. I repeat, we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem." --Douglas Adams

I just watched the new movie version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy last night, and couldn't resist the title and quote, sorry. ;o] Here is some more glass art. Nothing overly dramatic about this one. I just hope you enjoyed it for the colors, something calming to ease you into the weekend. This is a detail of one of my mother's garden ornaments. To clarify, the previous abstracts in my gallery are from glass paperweights, not marbles - though they do have that look, don't they? :) ----- And thanks for stopping by and for your fungal comments on my last photo, Creeping Green Fungus. That one IS an image of Tedz recent medical test results! ;^P

I agree...it's my favorite as well. The others looked like close-ups of glass, but this one has a wonderful ambiguity about it...is it a planet?...is it some molten mineral?...is it glass? Very nice. I like it a lot!

Looks like Mother of Swirl or is it Mother of Pearl? Either way I love the colors and essence of this piece. KP

"there is an answers? A simple answer?" I have the whole radio series on my iPod, and I am listening to it today, coincidence? I think not! Great minds think alike aye? This is my favorite for two reasons, I like the colors more, and it is more 2D, not as much depth, almost like a petrified cross section of a tree! Wonderful!!
