Description

Con riferimento a " Tekla 14/14 By Miwi With reference to "Tekla 14/14 By Miwi I do not know the fairy tale "Die Sechs Schwäne" but I like to think that this is the punishment inflicted on the Wicked Witch! "! Thank you Michael for your valuable help! (I had already posted, yesterday, this work, I had then noticed that I had made some mistakes in the text I entered. I don't know why, after the Correction, the comments received and the possibility to post others have disappeared. I apologize to the friends concerned by such inconvenience!) Nick.

Die Sechs Schwäne comes from the Grimm collection of fairy tales. It's a really complicated tale (lol---one of those fairy tales that take a while to figure out), with an evil woman and a good woman...and the good woman is saved by the swans. (And the evil woman dies.) So, yes, you have the gist of the story! And your image evokes the evil woman as a witch, who is tortured by the swans. Your light is dark and ominous---it looks like the light before a huge thunderstorm in the American Midwest. (Or right before a tornado.) Love the oranges and the rusty, dusty browns. And the cottage and background fence are both softened, so that the witch and swans stand out. A strong evocation of the darkness of malicious people. And the triumph of well-meaning people. Fine job again.

(You may know this, but the swan is a symbol of enlightenment, in the East---ie. India. And since the Grimm tales may have originated in India, it's fitting that they use swans as symbols of goodness and wisdom.)

Great sense of depth in this render. Tekla's swan companions seemed quite happy with her in Miwi's renders (she was the one in the boat, right?), so it does make you wonder why they're suddenly so mad with her! :)
