Description
On the 19th November my elderly father, after a long illness, died of heart failure. Today I finally scattered his ashes and said goodbye for the last time.
These have been the hardest three weeks of my life; I've never lost anyone so close to me before. Some of my earliest memories are of me and him bird-watching in local woodland. So here's my tribute to you, Dad. May you find the peace in death you could never find in life. Gone but never forgotten.
