Description

"In the world of tomorrow, space travel will be commonplace. Every family will have their own Gyro-plane to travel the country. Traffic will be banished as air trains fly above the streets, bringing holidaymakers to the city centre space ports. Vacations to the moon and beyond will be possible. Experts beleive that this vision could be a reality as early as 1970!" Hi everybody, this is my entry for the latest Rhino challenge. I was trying to make an image of the future from the point of view of the 1930's, rocket ships and sky trains and all. Thanks for looking, any suggestions welcome! All the models are mine, and most of the textures. Cheers.

great modeling..just a thought..the helicopter looks fairly modern. The current equivalent in the 30's was an 'autogyro'..which looked like an airplance with chopper blades..but a minor point.. you got the chops, and that's what counts..keep it up.

A bit modern to the 30's imagination. Chopper pushing turboprop engine was far to be predicted. The modeling job is outstanding and I luv your skytrain design.

Amazing! It reminds me of my comaplaint abotu living now in the 21st century. Where is my damn flying car back when I was young I was told I woudl have a flying car now. Well where is it. Rant over. Stunning amount of work here. Great Art deco look. The chopper works as 30's kitch think of an advanced future autogyro.
