Description
I shot this a couple of days ago after a short thunder shower. Zoom will get your nose wet!
I have never been so happy for a Friday - had a long and grueling week and need to just wind down a bit. Wishing everyone a great weekend!

I can count on one hand the number of these trees I've seen in person! They're fussy in these parts (too cold), so I find them to be enchanting! This is a gorgeous image, Dierbaar. Such a beautiful bloom!

Stellar focus, contrast and composition in this as yet unidentified floral ball of fluff, Carin. I have something similar, unrelated to this one, growing on our bushes, but it is red.

@ Issemissen - Yes - it can grow quite out of control. I do keep mine about 2 meters high by pruning it quite aggressively in winter!
