Well I had NO idea but I googled for tender pink climbers and it might be this: Allamanda blanchetii – Cherry Allamanda. What a delight it is!

One of my favourite vines but oh so tender. I think it is a Mandeville vine. I have tried to grow one here but with no luck but my daughter has a beauty in Perth Australia. 😀

Nancy, you are right. They really look exactly like a Mandeville. I looked both Andrea´s and your suggestion op and they look so much alike that I wouldnt be able to see the difference, only, I think the Mandeville leaves are most identical with my photo. Thank you very much :-)

Well, Nancy says it's a Mandeville vine, so who or what am I supposed to believe? In any case, a super stellar shot of this gorgeous climber, Helle. Other than the pretty flowers themselves, I love the texture on the leaves. All this and a cool restaurant to boot.

Whatever the botanical name may be (?), this climbing vine is just out of this world and may end up just like : "Jack and the Beanstalk", which is an English fairy tale. It appeared as "The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean" in 1734.... Wonderfully seen, observed and caught with your camera just in time, Helle. 😋
