Description

The organic/mechanical Manta Ray-like creatures are on their annual migration to the feeding grounds on the far-side of this planet Andoria. These rusty crab-like nurseries are left behind with the young ones, awaiting the return of their Andorian parents with the hope of fresh plasma fingers ? ************************************************* BTW, these Andorians have nothing to do with the Star Trek Universe. Cheers jif3d :o) p.s. thanks for taking a peek at my last post 'the way of the Unicorn' and to all those who made it a FAV...EXTRA THANX !

Very well created with wonderful lighting in all the right spots. I hope I don't come in contact with one of these rays, their spike looks rather lethal.

There was an episode of Dr. Who featuring the british actress who once helmed the Bionic Woman lead role- it was really cool, and the protagoins was a number of planet eating manta ray metallic cratures. Very similar- a cool theme, but of course your rendering method is what brings it to fruition!

Love the concept. Something Ive done myself in the past...but more of a barren desert theme. The accompanying text helps create a more vivid image of what you have presented...but are these kept like bees at a hive for the honey or their own creation & if so...who's the keeper :-) ..."Just oozing those brain juices! :-) Cool creation.

A fun, classic sci-fi scene in the tradition of HG Wells or Jules Verne...
