Description
After Freeing the Lion People from Ming's Rule they heroes head to the ice kingdom of Frigia. On the way Flash Gordon is captured by the blue-clad Magic Men. They take him to their ruler Queen Azura "the Witch Queen of Mongo." Azura rules from her castle, Syk. Half the group led by Prince Barin head to Frgia and the other led by Prince Vultan seek to rescue Flash.
Flash is taken to Azura where he is given a love potion. He falls madly in love with Queen Azura. Vultan and Thun rescue Flash by trickery and eventually physical force. Azura vows revenge. Barin has convinced his cousin Queen Fria to rebel.
Ming has been distracted by what happened with the Lion People. He consolidates his force in mongo City. Dale has been running interference with the wedding plans. Dr Zarkov is still in prison waiting for his execution.
