Description

Not my usual upload, but wanted to share these three shots. This is the biggest fire I have seen near Las Vegas. It started around the July 4th Weekend. The growing blaze on Mount Charleston has now consumed 19,757 acres. Thankfully the fire seems to be located on the opposite end of the mountain, away from Las Vegas, so we are safe. But fire crews are still out there. They say it will be "contained" by late next week. The fire remained contained at 15 percent Tuesday morning The probability of new ignitions remain between 86 to 100 percent with flame lengths up to 23 feet, according to officials. More than 800 firefighters are working around the clock to control the blaze. Another shot from the local newspaper http://www.reviewjournal.com/sites/default/files/field/image/8686066-1-150007.jpg

Awesome shots, my friend! Spectacular, and it must be a bit scarey. Seems like the whole western half of the country is on fire...
