Description

The first thing i did for preparation, was buying a plastic modeling-kit of the F 310B. that was very helpful to get some good blueprints and getting the shapes. I'm practising 3D for about 3 years and I'm still an amateur, nevertheless I tried to get a professional look with that render. first I only used an HDR-image of my living room for the reflections, but they where not really satisfying. So I started to place reflections manually with self-illuminated planes. The whole work without building the platic kit was about 20hours. finally I'm pretty happy with the result. but I guess some guys here have something to say. I'd like to know, what you're thinking about the presentation, lighting and the materials. I hope you like it greetz daniel modelling/texturing/rendering: c4d 8.5 Post: PSP8

Hi. The lighting and modeling are good but the texture on the tires could be nicer.

thanks folks, for your comments and critique. After all the suggestions I got on all the different 3d-communitys, I decided to rework all the little things and post one more (there where almost 2) final version of that picture. the tire texure seam to be a matter of taste, but I think I will keep it, as it is now. @ataulfus thanks man, I take it as a compliment :-) Just go on and make your car. maybe the first one will not be perfect, but with the secon or third one you get the routine. greetz mooses

The idea to buy a plastic kit to get the right shapes was an excellent one. Both modeling and rendering are top-notch!
