Description

While in the Park we came across a fine group of young people whom on our first encounter we mistook them as a group of hikers trudging through the wooded area stopping to discuss 'whatever'. A young lady approached us handing us a leaflet explaining that they were a theatre company and will be rehearsing their shakespeare production of Macbeth incorporating later in the day. They take the audience to different locations in the park and woods to act out each scene. I must be honest that Shakespere always sounds a little too heavy going for me but I found myself captivated by their fantastic expressions as they were going through their paces. Made great photography and was certainly an added bonus to our day. The only regret I had was that I only took maybe a dozen shots, I think Jeff took over a hundred lol. This is a good example of why you should never leave home without your camera:) Great human interest shot. Both of my daughters were big in local theater circles and would have joined this group in a heartbeat had it been available here a few years ago.

LOL @ Marilyn!!! I agree wholeheartedly with her... I still feel that I have been scarred for life by having to do a Shakespeare work in school - Macbeth of all things! This is a super fine image Alan - Great "action"!!!!

This looks like so much fun to watch. We have a lot of theater and concerts in our parks here and a great many people who just love to act out in parks. But then, we are California.LOL What a super shot this is! and it really has me smiling!

Wonderful capture and expression. I came across a play being played out an one of our parks and feel in love with Midsummer's night dream! this is how you should see Shakespeare!
