Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders.
Due to lack of time, if you are uploading more than one image a day, I am afraid I will only be able to comment on a one or two of them at most.

One more non-story post. I am busy updating my older renders and this one is to show the difference between the previous one vs the new render I did.

About this render :
This was an exercise to see how I can improve an older scene with not just the latest version of Miho but by also changing other elements of the scene. I made the following changes :
- My latest version of Miho (V2019.05) with my latest improved custom skin shader.
- Miho's hair with my latest improved custom hair shader.
- Orc's skin - added SSS to his skin.
- Orc's outfit - some material changes to his outfit.
- 'My' sci-fi suit. I changed it to blue instead of the red texture and changed the metal finish.
- Added more DOF effect by using a bigger aperture on the camera.
- Added custom material to the trees.
- Added a sweat effect on the mercenary's Tee Shirt by using a ridge fractal node as power for the diffuse texture in Octane and also used an invert of that as the specular power.
- Changed the mercenary's skin to make it look like he is sweating.
- Better HDRI lighting.
I included my old render here (below image) so that you can compare the 2 images. I also did update the original in place. You can see how much better Miho looks as well as the overall lighting looks. Miho's skin material has a lot more highlight control and more color. I really like how the sci-fi suit update looks. I feel even the Orc's skin looks better with the SSS effect added. Also adding the sweat effect to the mercenary's skin and Tee-Shirt makes it more in line with what was happening to him.
Btw. there is a slight camera angle change in the new one.

All the characters stand out better in the newer version. Miho isn't as "flat" looking with the new skin and the soldier's slicker skin makes him more realistic as well. His shirt is nicer, too. Bravo!
