Yesterday as I was leaving my comments on my favorite artists works, I came across one at my friend Mike's site, some know him as mikeerson and it truly touched my heart. I left my comment but still I felt I needed to do more to reach out to him. He told all of us that stopped by to see his work that he felt he was losing his faith because someone close to him had to go to jail. I know how that feels Mike and I know it hurts deep down in the core of the soul. But it's these rough things we must all face in life that make us stronger and help us grow. My Daddy always told me that the good Lord never gives us more than we can bare...well there were times that was very hard for me to believe...but it's very true Mike. If we go to Him in prayer, He really does listen. He has the answers and all we need do is ask. He may not answer right away my friend but when He does you'll hear Him loud and clear. Until He answers just keep the faith knowing your answer will come. Be supportive of your friend in his or her darkest hours ahead, your friend will need your advice and your support...as for you, you have my support always if you need a friend to talk to but remember, there is One above who always takes the time to listen.
I will be gone a few days as I am moving, be back on Tuesday.

Couldn't have said it better then you did Marly !!!!! Sometimes you really don't understand why things happen to you in life because we don't have the insight in His plans but sooner or later we will find out that just because a certain thing has happened to us or our environnement another wonderful something occurs...and if that first thing would have never occured we also wouldn't have lived the wonderful experience...I hope you understand my point cause i am no wizzard in the English language...The point is that we always get something better out of it...sooner or later...Everything has it's sense no matter how useless or absurd some events can be...Our path of life is full of those obstacles and that goes for everybody...Like Marly said...Stand by your friend, don't lose your Faith, it will help you both through these hard times...Maybe you'll have to got faith for 2 now...and that's why you are doubting...Ask for strength for the both of you...He will listen and help...I strongly believe in that... Marly...your image tells it all !!! It's wonderful and beautiful and holds indeed all the answers we all need !!!

Very inspiring and impressive.. You could not of said it any better I agree... I too have always heard that God doesn't put on us more than we can bare... But I always wondered about that when things just keep building up But in the end it always works out...... Prayer does work...and this is a wonderful dedication... Well, what do I say Shahlaa??? You seen my site earlier today and said you were working on something. Thank you. I use to feel very lucky and felt I had an angel on my side. I never abused the luck except bragging while playing Canasta with my family. My Mother died a year into the new mileneum and it has felt like a chain reaction. I keep thinking the next year will be better - well, no one should do that. a year is too long and bad things happen and are ballanced out by good things. I have made the mistake of thinking at the begining of the year it will be a good year... take my advice and try not to feel that way because heading into the new year for the last 5 or 6, something strange happens in the first month that are life changing moments. New Years is associate with drinking and I wish my problems were so easy to say hey that's the problem... drinking was not a factor in these chain reactions. My Mother passing away had nothing to do with drinking and events that followed are similar. The type of events I'm talking about are like death, divorce, marrage, moving, accidents, lost opportunities, being at the wrong place at the wrong time... The list goes on. Basically, I felt I was in an opportunistic situation and some events have happened that are so final, like death, that have changed the out look for the entire year... Kinda like taking out a loan for something good and something bad happens and you have to spend the loan money - and with that I can finish off my picture on this site. my picture ties in with REMs song losing my Religion.... If I were to include the next verse on my pictue it would be: "Oh no I've said too much, I haven't said enough"... Thanks for the dedication, I read it all.

Wonderful way to show support for your Friend! Indeed, it is easy to loose Faith when hard times fall. The answer is to stay positive that there is purpose in all that God does regardless of if we understand. Prayer, Praise, and Worship will make the Holy Spirit intervene. For this we know.
