Went through my incremental saves of this model and made this Gif anim of the progress of the main baddie I did for a contest image (the last "Dawn of Darkness" Halloween contest here at R'osity). Not sure when will upload that finished pic into my gallery as I still want to work on it more (past the version I submitted to the contest). In fact I normally wouldn't even put this up here and just stick it into the Wings forum instead.. but due to the bad quality-to-size ratio of gif anim files, it's too large to attach there while still keeping the quality acceptable, so in here it goes instead :) All the frames by the way are simply screenshots ('Some Edges' style - Smooth Preview) from Wings3D, the great 'n free modeler I used for this, and all the other 3D stuff in my gallery so far. Anyhow, as you can see there was some indecision during the dev process.. wasn't sure if should go with darker skin and pale white dead eyes, or pale white skin and solid black evil eyes.. final was a mix of both, pale white/dead eyes AND skin, but darker around the eyes. Can also see started different type of hood and cloth outfit (more in-line with my quick initial sketches).. But then scraped all those totally and went with simple robe style with the rope (kinda 'medieval monk' style) and that shoulder/hood cover thing. Also at one time I considered (and made) the bottom of that hood thing jagged (executioner style) but I didn't like it, so opted for the cleaner/simpler straight edges style instead.
