Description

Modelled and rendered in Cinema 4D. Textures and post work with PhotoPaint. Scene depicts a futuristic cruise ship at a port. Having fun with the art deco, vintage sci-fi design. Note: Cinema 4D is a great application! The C4D file for this scene is just 21MB. Not bad for all the modelling detail. Total render time <1.5 hrs on dual Xeon 1.5Ghz computer with 1.5Gb RAM

Rivets ! it has rivets ! this is great ! and rather beautiful. SF from a world where WW2 never happened, perhaps.

Yes, definitely a touch of retro styling. The front of the ship has a certain Robbie the Robot look.

Absolutly beautiful, really love the Art Deco spin on it. Is that a figure on one of the port docks? Must have an awesome view!!

Just stunning. Your work is so inspiring and whenever I see what you've done I think I'd best try and use C4D in someway, still learning the ropes. The sense of design is awesome and has that early Flash Gordon feel. Brilliant. Steve:)
