Description

Still playing around with 'Speed Renders' -- loosely based on Speed Painting. All modeled in Vue, only levels and title in Pshop. More good Vue 7 clouds! Inspired by Syd Mead's "Disaster at Syntron" and David Levy's "Newarchi_A".

The colors and the reflections you've packed into this one are truly awesome and yes, those Vue 7 clouds are pretty cool to say the least. Great work!

The shapes in your image look really cool and the materials look excellent. The clouds are awesome, of course. On a side note, to tell you the truth, I never liked the concept of speed painting, it always reminds me of fast food. Why rush art? It always irritates me to see what could be a beautiful work of art, half-made. I find it very frustrating. IMO, art is to be slowly enjoyed, both on the viewing and on the execution side. But this is just "philosophy", sorry. :-) Your image was done fast but I don't think it can be compared to speed painting. You've done a much much better job than the speed painters normally do. :-)

Quite breathtaking - the contrast between the small ship and large base is particularly good. So is the line of clouds leading your eye between the two.

Extremly impressive. An interesting study in the use of reflective and other metal materials.
