Oh thats right...you know 3D max as well....sigh....you annoy me, lol. Beautiful render May with perfect DOF. Did you edit the depth later or was that some kind of camera setting in 3DMax? Really impressive! Have a wonderful day. #:O)

Didn't know that you into 3D StudioMax as well tho.. That really surprised me a lot.. And seem that you are all in wonder.. Just like that ATI ALL"n"1 Card :)) Lovely render.. Terrific colors, textures and excellent overall scene composition! IMO, the urns and sand still have that 'faceted' look one gets with 3D rendering... my eyes tell me the DOF is too shallow -- perhaps the background is too blurry.
