As a Brycist myself, I am flabbergasted by the beauty of this abstract, a type of graphics I reckon, that is beyond my control, my skill I should say ! Your creation and render are fantastic !

Marvelously done.Looks more like a fractal rendering than any thing done by Bryce.I just wish it was at a higher resolution to appreciate the detail.

I think you posted something like this, before---a similar idea, but a different visual. Both are beautiful. This looks like a series of old machine parts---gears and such. But also, parts for old mechanical (wind-up) pocket watches. And you've strung them together into a circular orbit, as if they were clustered around a star. And your point of view doesn't look at the circle, but at the 'line': You're presenting this from the side, where the circle is collapsed into a visual line. (Maybe it's an elipse. Maybe it's a complex of curves...)

And you have metal links that go beyond the picture frame--there are orbits/energy fields here that are quite large. But most of all, it feels like a long string of brass objects, with beautiful tints of red and amber, and with the most fascinating shapes. Like some of your commenters above, I too was surprised you did this in Bryce: I've never used Bryce, mind you, but from all the Bryce work I've seen, this seems most unusual. But you've shown real creativity in your art, so it's not surprising you'd get creative with your software. And I agree with Mandi (blankfrancine) that there's a fractal feeling to this.

Finally, you did it all on white, which is a great choice: It allows the sheen and hues of these objects to shine all the more. Terrific piece, Tom. I'll take 20. (Send me the bill.)
