Stunning... the lighting and the well done grass is really good. Perhaps some "graininess" to the sand will help further the quality here even more. I'm afraid there might be a snake sleeping in the shadow under that boulder. :o)

I have nothing but the deepest of respect for those like yourself Mark who can manipulate a most complicated piece of software like Lightwave and produce such beautiful precision. What you do in 3D is every bit as gorgeous and impressive as any 2D painting ever done, for there is a huge learning curve to conquer in order to get such software to behave and turn out what the inner eye already sees. Truly a dramatic render, the encroachment of desert on nature. My vote!
