Description

Dredging through my HD I found this one lurking, thought I would post it up. Uses the same technique as I did with 'Journey through Colourspace' ( Link to Colourspace ) lots of cube dropped on a terrain that is using a zMap of a face. This actual cube set was used in 'R101 Explores Aleph Null' ( Link to Robbie ) but I never put it out as an image in it's own right. Tried the HTML Links yet again and this time they worked, only thing I've done differently is an extra space between the brackets and the anchor Tag!)

Is there a face in there, or is that just me seeing it? Very creative work!

brilliant technique and creative thinking. the yellow boxes are a masterstroke. did you place each box on the terrain individually?? (please tell me there was an easier way!!) i love this image!!

To explain the process, I created a box, then used a multi-replicate to make a grid of boxes, I changed the colour of a stripe of boxes, I then used the 2d size / rotate disperse control to jumble things a little and finally dropped all the cubes onto the terrain!
